- Ex-Tecmo des Tomonobu Itagaki has revealed his new game development studio. It’s called Valhalla Game Studios. He hasn’t announced what type of game they’re creating, Itagaki has only said that it will likely come to consoles and PC and he hopes it will sell at least 4 million units. (andriasang)
- Sony will be revealing a “surprise sequel” on this week’s GameTrailers TV. No hints at what the game will be, but I’m pulling for a Mark of Kri sequel. (GameTrailers)
- If an SEC filing is being understood correctly, it may mean multiple Diablo sequels are on the way! (CVG)
- Two new River City games have been announced by Aksys! River City Soccer Hooligans and River City Super Sports Challenge are coming to the DS (Aksys Games)
- Famitsu has teased that a popular Strategy RPG series will have a new game announced next week. (Destructoid)
- Konami dropped Six Days in Fallujah due to the controversy surrounding the game, but now there are rumors the game will come out after all. No publisher name has been rumored yet. (IGN)
- A group of successful indie developers have gotten together to form The Indie Fund, which was established to help publish indie games. (The Witness)
- Atlus has released a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey and you can see it at the bottom of this post! (Destructoid)
- In a recent interview with Gamasutra, Christian Svensson has stated that owners of Street Fighter IV will get some special bonus in Super Street Fighter IV. (Gamasutra)
- I’ve already ranted about it, but now you can try it for yourself! Patchwork Heroes is getting a demo on PSN this Thursday! (PlayStation Blog)
- Speaking of things being available for download, the next piece of Resident Evil 5 DLC “Desperate Escape” is hitting Live and PSN this week!
- Rockstar has delayed Red Dead Redemption to May 21st. Personally I’m happy about game delays at this point, I already have too much to play! (Destructoid)
- American McGee is hoping to sell a twisted Little Red Riding Hood game idea that he has. (GameSetWatch)
- TT Games has extended their license with LEGO through 2016. (Destructoid)
