- Portal 2 has been announced and will be coming this holiday to PC and 360. In addition to having a new story and levels, it will also feature co-op. (eurogamer)
- Sony has patented degradable demos. The idea is that the demo would weaken your character, strip out levels or more as time passed to help motivate you to buy the real game. (Siliconera)
- PS3 owners upset that Platinum Games’ Bayonetta lead on the Xbox 360 may be happy to know that the lead platform for their newest title Vanquish is PS3. (1up)
- Bioshock 2 DLC has been announced that raises the level cap, new characters, new trials, weapons and masks. (Destructoid)
- Siliconera has images from a Nintendo patent for a new type of DS cart. The cart looks a lot like a dev rewriteable DS cart. No one knows what the cart is actually for, but rumors suggest it’s for DS2 or tilt sensor. (Siliconera)
- The Red Star came out despite the death of the original Acclaim. It got next to no attention, but is an awesome game. Now The Red Star will be coming to PSP and iPhone! (Destructoid)
- A new Boulder Dash game is coming to XBLA. (Destructoid)
- Right now you can download a gree track form the God of War III soundtrack. The song is called Brothers in Blood and the special edition comes with the soundtrack or you can buy it separately. (AOL Radio)
- If you want to buy Final Fantasy XIII, you may want to buy it from Target. They’ll give you a $10 Target gift card just to thank you for buying it there. (Destructoid)
- Dead or Alive Paradise’s Japanese special edition is a sexy affair featuring a soundtrack, secret photo book and it all comes in a box with Kasumi in a barely there swimsuit. (andriasang)
- Valve has confirmed that they wil be developing games for the Mac now. (MacNN)
- You can now say that you’re gay in your Xbox Live profile! Previously MS would ban or edit gay labels. (Destructoid)
- The Aliens vs. Predator demo has been downloaded over 4 million times! (Videogamer)
- If you pre-order Red Dead Redemption at Gamestop, you’ll get the “Deadly Assassin” outfit for your bullet slinger. (Destructoid)
